RULES

Music that will follow the intended performance can be with or without words.

 

The music and the performance must be from 03:30 – 04:30 minutes long.

 

If any of the performers choose the same music tracks, performer who sent in the application first, will get the privilege of performing it.

The music files must be delivered to the Organizers until September 10th, 2018 in mp3 format, in good quality. Send the music track to the email poleartcroatia@gmail.com.

 

Because of copyright laws, the performer must provide the Organizer the name of the composer and the title of the music track.

 

The performer must title his music track in this format “CATEGORY-Name Surname-Song details”.

Example: “PROFESSIONAL-Natalia Sharar-Massive Attack-Angel.mp3”

 

If the performer has a mix of multiple songs, he needs to specify (in email) all the song titles and authors (singers).

JUDGING AND SCORES

The performers will be judged based on their Artistic and Technical performance. The judges will award points from 1-10, and deduct points in case of bad execution.

Pay attention that, both, choreography and pole tricks should be presented in a performance.

​

The winners will be announced the evening after the last performer. The winner will be the performer with the highest score based on awarded points, followed by the performers on the 2nd and 3rd place.

Judges will comment on the marks they give to the performer. Judges make the final decision.

Score-sheets and comments will be made available to performers upon request sometime after the competition.

The finalists will be scored in accordance with the Pole Art Croatia 2018 Scoring Sheet, which can be previewed here.

The performer should describe his costume and set in his entry. Costumes and props shouldn't bother the performance. All makeup and body paint is allowed as long as it doesn't make dirty other performers, the performance area and the poles.

Any costume, footwear and props are permitted, as long as:

The space allows for it physically,

It can be set up and removed in under 3 minutes.

Are not dangerous to performers, the public and/or judges.

 

Nudity is not permitted! Showing breasts or intimate body parts is forbidden. Men can show a naked upper body. Thongs, G-strings, nipple pasties etc. are not permitted. Any kind of not suitable nudity will immediately disqualify the performer.
